Shogi Day Celebration - 2017
Dear Mr. and Mrs.,
Ukrainian Shogi Federation initiates the Shogi Day celebration in Europe (namely - the first event will be held in Ukraine, Kyiv) and invites you to take part in "Shogi Day Celebration 2017" tournament, dated to the Shogi Day (17th November).
The event will take place from 17th to 19th November in Kyiv (Ukraine), in chess club "Obolon" (Street Agregatnaya, 9).
How to get to the tournament:
- Trolleybus #18, #6 - from the metro "Luk'yanivska" to Mostytska Street, then on foot to tournament's place
- Trolleybus #33 - fro the central railway station to Mostytska Street, then on foot to tournament's place
- Trolleybus #25 - from the metro "Petrivka" to Mostytska Street, then on foot to tournament's place
- Tram #12, #11, #19 - from Kontraktova Square
Tournament rules: 6 round Swiss system
Time control: 40 minutes basic time for each player + byo-yomi: 1 minute per move
Ukraine Shogi Cup - 2017
Dear Shogi players,
Ukrainian Shogi Federation invites you to take part in "Ukraine Shogi Cup - 2017" tournament.
The event will take place from 7th to 8th October in Kamenskoe (ex-Dniprodzerzhinsk, Ukraine), in DUSH №1 (38/39 Metalurgov avenue).
Tournament fee:
120 UAH (~4Є),
50% discount for USF members
free for participants under 14
Tournament rules: 6 round Mac-Mahon system, if number of players are less then 16 - Swiss system
Time control: 30 minutes basic time for each player + byo-yomi: 1 minute per move
